Spitzkoppe

The isolated granite peak of Spitzkoppe rises 700m above the surrounding land. In the mostly flat an arid Damaraland the “Matterhorn of Namibia” is a prominent sight. On the foot of the rugged mountain you will find a charming, community run campsite. In this isolated and untouched environment you will feel the wide open spaces and solitude that gives Namibia its unique charm.

Spitzkoppe also has some San rock art within walking distance of the campsite.
